Central 1 Credit Union announced today that current board vice-chairperson Terry Enns, also a director of First West credit union, has been elected board chairperson. Terry replaces retiring chairperson Jack Smit.

Terry is a long-time credit union member and has served on First West's board for many years. In recent years, he’s played a key role in advancing the case for legislative and regulatory changes at both the federal and provincial levels.

While we take great pride in our past achievements, Valley First entered 2011 challenging ourselves to be even better. We wanted to better meet the needs of First West members at our branches, make our services more accessible and improve our efficiency so we could spend more time with members and clients. I’m proud to say we were better.
